The short version. We keep the contact and delivery details you type in, plus basic usage data from the Site. Card numbers go into the PagAmerican checkout and never reach us. We do not sell personal information. Access, correction and deletion requests go to support@horseforcegelatin.com.
Sections
1. Who answers for this
Horse Force Nutrition LLC, PO Box 12730, Ogden, UT 84412, United States, is responsible for personal information collected through horseforcegelatin.com. Anything about this policy, or any request about your data, goes to support@horseforcegelatin.com.
PagAmerican LLC acts as Merchant of Record for purchases and processes order and payment data under its own privacy policy, as an independent controller for that processing.
2. What we collect
What you hand over
- Order details: full name, email address, phone number, billing address, shipping address, the offer bought, and the order number.
- Support messages: whatever you write to us, including anything you choose to add.
- Reviews: where you submit one, its text and the display name you give.
What arrives automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and version, operating system, device type, screen size, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, and the approximate region the IP address suggests.
- Identifiers on your device: cookie identifiers and similar, covered in Section 5.
We do not collect government identification numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data or health records. We never ask you to disclose a medical condition, and we ask that health information stay out of messages to support.
3. Why we use it
- Processing, shipping and supporting your order, and writing to you about it.
- Handling cancellations, returns, refunds and delivery problems.
- Answering questions sent to support.
- Spotting, preventing and investigating fraud, abuse and security incidents.
- Running, measuring and improving the Site and our advertising.
- Sending marketing email where you asked for it (Section 10).
- Meeting legal, tax and accounting obligations, and establishing or defending legal claims.
We do not use personal information to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Payment data
Card details are typed straight into the PagAmerican checkout and processed by PagAmerican and its payment processors under PCI DSS requirements. Horse Force Nutrition LLC never receives, processes or stores full card numbers, security codes or expiry dates. What comes back to us is the order record: buyer name, contact and delivery details, items, amount and payment status.
5. Cookies
The Site runs a small set of cookies and similar identifiers:
- Strictly necessary: keeping the Site functional, remembering your cookie choices, and guarding against abuse. These cannot be turned off.
- Analytics: showing which pages get visited and how the Site performs, in aggregate.
- Advertising: measuring whether an ad produced a visit or a purchase, and capping repeat ads.
Cookies can be blocked or deleted in your browser settings, though blocking the strictly necessary ones will break parts of the Site. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is treated as an opt-out of targeted advertising and of any sharing of personal information for that purpose.
6. Advertising measurement
We advertise on third-party platforms and use their measurement tools to see which campaigns bring visits and purchases. Those tools may receive a device or cookie identifier, the pages viewed, and an event marking that a purchase happened, along with a hashed version of the checkout email address where that matching is used. They receive no card data and nothing about health conditions.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the measurement described here.
7. Who else sees it
- PagAmerican LLC — as Merchant of Record: payment, invoicing, tax handling, delivery support, returns and refunds.
- Fulfillment and shipping partners — name, address and phone number, purely to pack and deliver.
- Email and support providers — to send confirmations, tracking notices and replies.
- Analytics and advertising platforms — as set out in Sections 5 and 6.
- Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities — where the law, a court order or a lawful request demands it, or to protect rights, safety or property.
- A successor — in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with this policy continuing to apply until the successor publishes its own.
Service providers may use personal information only to perform services for us, under written contract.
8. How long we hold it
- Order records: 7 years from the order date, for tax and accounting purposes.
- Support correspondence: 3 years from the last message in the thread.
- Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe, plus up to 24 months of inactivity.
- Analytics and advertising identifiers: up to 14 months.
- Fraud and security logs: up to 24 months.
Once a period closes, the information is deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
9. Your rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold and how it gets used, to receive a copy, to correct inaccuracies, to request deletion, to opt out of targeted advertising, sale or profiling, and not to be treated differently for exercising any of it. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other states with comprehensive privacy laws hold these rights under the applicable statute.
Send a request to support@horseforcegelatin.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line, saying what you want done. We verify it by matching the email address and order details on file, and reply within 45 calendar days, extendable once by another 45 where the request is complex, with notice to you. An authorized agent may act for you with written permission we can verify.
A declined request comes with the reason, and can be appealed by replying with “Privacy appeal” in the subject line. Appeals are answered within 45 calendar days.
Records we are legally required to keep cannot be deleted before their retention period closes.
10. Email
Transactional messages — confirmations, tracking, support replies — go out for every order and are not marketing. Marketing email reaches only people who asked for it, and every message carries an unsubscribe link that takes effect within 10 business days. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages about a live order.
11. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. Access to order records is restricted to staff who need it, protected by individual accounts and multi-factor authentication, and reviewed periodically. Service providers are chosen partly on their security practices and bound by contract. No transmission or storage method is perfectly secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed; a breach affecting your personal information brings notification to you and to the relevant authorities as the law requires.
12. Minors
The Site and the product are for adults aged 18 or over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, write to support@horseforcegelatin.com and it will be deleted.
13. Where data sits
We sell and ship only within the United States, and personal information is stored on servers located there. A few service providers may process limited data from other countries, and where that happens the transfer carries contractual protections appropriate to the destination.
14. Updates
This policy may be revised as our practices or the law change. The version in force is always the one on this page with its effective date. Material changes are announced on the Site and, where we hold your email address for marketing, by email. Continuing to use the Site after a change takes effect means accepting the updated policy.
